Puffin Leaf provides bookmark curation, organization, and knowledge management services through our web platform and browser extensions (collectively, the "Service").

3. User Accounts

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Subscription Fees

Certain features of the Service require payment of subscription fees. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.

6.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically.

6.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

6.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription fees at any time. We will provide notice of price changes at least 30 days in advance.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUFFIN LEAF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Puffin Leaf, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and data
• You remain liable for any outstanding fees

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Sending an email notification
• Providing in-app notification

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
